How is this different from what Shopify already sends to Meta?

Shopify only sends an email. DATALYR sends the full picture: the click, the device, and the customer’s value.

Do I have to remove my Meta Pixel or Shopify’s tracking?

No. DATALYR runs alongside. Just turn off the Shopify events DATALYR is already sending to avoid double-counting. DATALYR walks you through it.

Will this improve my Meta EMQ score?

Yes. Most Shopify stores sit at EMQ 2-3. DATALYR typically lifts it above 8 within a week by sending the click, device, and customer info Meta needs to match.

Does it work with Recharge or Bold subscriptions?

I sell supplements or health products. Will Meta restrict my ad account?

It can, if your events carry sensitive-category content. DATALYR’s Sensitive Category Redaction strips the trigger fields (content_name, content_category, health-keyword product titles and URLs) from outgoing CAPI events before they reach Meta, TikTok, or Google, while still sending the hashed email, click IDs, value, and order ID needed to match and attribute.
