# Ad Reports

> View and analyze all ads across Meta, Google, and TikTok in one unified dashboard

Ad Reports shows all your running ads from Meta, Google, and TikTok in a unified view with performance metrics, creative previews, and quick access to ad managers.

## What It Does

**Unified Ad View:**

* All platforms in one dashboard (Meta, Google, TikTok)
* Campaign, ad set, and ad level views
* Performance metrics per ad
* Creative previews (images, videos)
* Direct links to edit in native platform

**Shows Per Ad:**

* Spend, impressions, clicks, conversions
* ROAS and cost per conversion
* Creative assets (images/videos)
* Ad copy and landing page
* Status (active, paused, etc.)

## Key Features

### Platform Tabs

Switch between platforms instantly:

**Meta Ads Tab:**

* Campaigns, ad sets, ads
* Image/video previews
* Ad copy and call-to-action
* Link to Facebook Ads Manager

**Google Ads Tab:**

* Campaigns, ad groups, ads
* Responsive search ads
* Display ad previews
* Link to Google Ads dashboard

**TikTok Ads Tab:**

* Campaigns, ad groups, ads
* Video previews
* TikTok creative formats
* Link to TikTok Ads Manager

### Hierarchy Navigation

View at different levels:

**Campaigns:** High-level performance across campaigns
**Ad Sets/Groups:** Mid-level optimization targets
**Ads:** Individual ad creative performance

Drill down from campaign → ad set → individual ads.

### Performance Metrics

Customize visible columns:

**Core Metrics:**

* Spend
* Impressions
* Clicks
* CTR
* CPC
* CPM

**Conversion Metrics:**

* Conversions
* Conversion value
* ROAS
* Cost per conversion

**Platform-Specific:**

* Meta: Link clicks, engagement, reach, frequency
* Google: Quality score, impression share
* TikTok: Video views, engagement rate

### Sorting and Filtering

**Sort by:**

* Spend (highest to lowest)
* ROAS (best to worst)
* Conversions
* Any metric

**Filter by:**

* Status (active, paused, draft)
* Date range
* Minimum spend threshold
* Campaign/ad set

### Creative Previews

See ad creatives without leaving DATALYR:

**Image Ads:** Thumbnail previews
**Video Ads:** Video player with playback
**Carousel Ads:** All images in carousel
**Text Ads:** Ad copy display

Click "View in Platform" to edit in native ad manager.

## How It Works

### Data Sync

Ad data syncs every 15 minutes:

**What Syncs:**

* Campaign, ad set, ad details
* Performance metrics (spend, impressions, clicks)
* Creative assets (images, videos)
* Status changes
* Budget updates

**Performance History:**

* Last 90 days of data
* Daily aggregation
* Historical trend charts

### Platform Integration

**Meta Ads:**

* Connects via Nango OAuth
* Syncs from all ad accounts in Business Manager
* Shows Facebook and Instagram ads

**Google Ads:**

* Connects via Google OAuth
* Syncs all accessible Google Ads accounts
* Search, Display, Shopping, Video ads

**TikTok Ads:**

* Connects via TikTok OAuth
* Syncs advertiser accounts
* TikTok organic + paid ads

### Attribution Integration

Ads are linked to DATALYR conversion tracking:

Shows true ROAS based on DATALYR tracking, not just platform reporting.

## Best Practices

**Regular Review:**

* Check Ad Reports daily
* Sort by spend to catch budget issues
* Pause underperformers quickly

**Compare Platforms:**

* Run similar creatives on all platforms
* Compare performance metrics
* Scale winners, pause losers

**Monitor Creative Fatigue:**

* Track CTR over time
* Refresh creatives when CTR drops
* Test new variations monthly

**Use Platform Links:**

* Quick access to edit in native platform
* Make changes in Facebook Ads Manager
* DATALYR shows updated data on next sync

## Limitations

**Read-Only:**

* Ad Reports is view-only
* Cannot edit ads directly in DATALYR
* Use "View in Platform" to make changes

**Sync Delay:**

* 15-minute sync frequency
* Recent changes may not appear immediately
* Refresh manually if needed

**Platform-Specific Features:**

* Not all ad types supported
* Some metrics platform-exclusive
* Complex ad formats may not preview fully
